Canadian challenge to EU ban on seal products

The European Union (EU) ban on the trade in seal products was a huge achievement for animal rights campaigners working with the European Parliament. The Canadian Government are now trying to overturn this democratic decision. I was happy to receive petitions from Dr Joanna Swabe, the EU Director of the Humane Society International (below), in Strasbourg defending the ban and challenging the Canadian Government.
