The European Parliament Office in the UK has a website, as does THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT OFFICE IN SCOTLAND. This site covers activities and events in Scotland and contains a valuable links page.

The BBC DEMOCRACY LIVE website is well worth a visit. It offers live and on-demand video coverage of the UK's national political institutions, representatives and the European Parliament.  This excellent site allows viewers to pinpoint the exact moment of a debate that is of interest to them with its audio, text and visual search capabilities. The European Parliament is easily accessible from the homepage menu or can be reached directly on DEMOCRACY LIVE EUROPE.

It is a body of the Council of Europe and consists of 47 judges – equal to the number of member states of the Council.
