World Fair Trade Day

World Fair DayEvery year on the second Saturday of May, World Fair Trade is celebrated worldwide with the goal to promoting global awareness of Fair Trade and its impacts. It is supported by thousands of citizens, Fair Trade Organizations, social and environmental movements, producers and consumers all around the planet.

Also, on 4 June 2011, the International Fair Trade Town Campaign will celebrate worldwide the declaration of the 1000th Fair Trade  town -the majority of which are in the EU! Check out which municipalities in your constituency have already such title under: www.fairtradetowns.org/about/
